Getting excited about our Songs of the Shipyard gig coming up with Eastside Arts Festival. In it we will be working with Contact Community Choir and brass players from Ulster Orchestra performing the poetry of Thomas Carnduff set to music by Peacock Angell.

Carnduff was known as the Shipyard Poet and his work documented the hardships faced by the working class of Belfast in the early 20th century.  Read more about Carnduff here at New Ulster Biography.
