Check out the “Live in Birmingham 04” review on The Dawg’s Blog. It feels good that our music is reaching round the world to an appreciative audience.
“This is an album that keeps the listener wondering where its going to end up. In an age of mass produced cookie cutter music, that is cause for celebration and reason to highly recommend this CD.” The Dawg’s Blog.
The host of “The Dawg’s Blog” also hosts another Blog called Free Albums Galore, “Free Albums” posts at least one new album a day of legally free mp3 downloads. The host has done the web searching for you to find intriguing and unique music of very high quality, trust me you can spend a long time on this site. Recent posts have included jazz saxophonist Steve Coleman, early Japanese electronic music, Alpendub – who mix yodelling and electronica (I kid you not) and John cage meets Sun Ra (starting to sound like heaven isn’t it?). I would also recommend ‘More Music from the Florida Folklife Collection” which I spent a very relaxed evening with the other night. The “Can’t Buy Everything Forever” ep is reviewed there too.
